Mommy Lunch

Every other Tuesday at 12:30 Baby J and I load up and head down to the local cafe for lunch.  There is a group of ladies that like myself, are stay home moms.  On average, there are 6 Moms and 7 kids.  We actually have to bring a couple of our own highchairs!

We all have a wonderful time.  I am always looking forward to our lunches and even though Baby J is only 7 months old, I know he enjoys it too.  It's funny to watch all the kids together.  Even though not all of them can say actual words, they all talk to each other.  It is definately a very noisy couple of hours!

When spring arrives we might start having a few outings, like the zoo or the park.  And as the kids get older, they will enjoy the outings more too.

Well, I didn't have lunch with them today. It is our off week, but I am definately ready for my Fried Cheesecake! (Yes, it's so good, it deserves to be capitalized!)

On The Tractor With Popa!

A couple of weeks ago, LB had a meeting he had to go to in Stillwater. (In case you don't know, that is where my parents live.)  So, Baby J, Moose, and I decided to go along and hang out with my mom and dad for the day.  Unfortunately, it ended up being a rainy day, so Baby J got to spend the day inside with my mom.

At one point during the day, my dad and I stopped by the house for a few minutes.  When we pulled up by the back door on the tractor, Baby J got so excited that we just couldn't resist letting him set up there with his Popa!

He was so excited!
It made for the most perfect photo op!

Found

I love this picture!  I actually took this two years ago and I had forgotten all about it until the other day.  This is our pond dam and if you yhink it's pretty in this picture, you should see it in the spring!

Burt's Bees

I have these products in my house.  I usually have more than this, I'm just running a little low at the moment.

I love Burt's Bees stuff.  I am literally addicted to their chap stick.  I can't use anything else, if I do my lips will blister!  I actually have 3 more lip products, but they are scattered through out the house, and I didn't remember them until just now.  Oops!

And their line of Baby Bee is wonderful.  It is so gentle on Baby J's skin.

Of course if I'm telling you about it, that means that it is Made in the USA.  And, on top of that, all of their stuff is all natural.    Please, check out their website, if there is something you're interested in, they have trial sizes.  You just might find something you like!

Papa and Grandma

Baby J has two sets of Great-Grandparents.  I told you about one set awhile back; but I haven't ever told you about his other set.

This is Papa and Grandma.  They are LB's Grandparents and they live here in town.

We try to take Baby J by about once a week.  It may only be for an hour or so, but he has fun.  Grandma always digs out her sack of toys and Baby J enjoys going through them.

I'm glad he has the opportunity to see them.
I hope these visits last for many years and that he makes some great memories!

Resolve

I have these two products in my utility cabinet.

They are wonderful products!  I'd hate to think of what the state my son's clothes would be in without the stain remover.  And the multi-fabric cleaner, it really does work on everything!

But you know what makes it even better?  You guessed it.  It's made in the USA.

I knew these two products were made in the USA it was stated plainly on the bottle, but what about the other resolve products?  Well, I emailed the company.  I'm proud to say all their products are made in the USA with the exception of the "Resolve Stain Stick".  It is made in Canada.

So, check out their website, you might find something you like!

Just Something To Share

Over Christmas I was at my Big Sister's house and taped to their bathroom mirror was a Bible verse.  I thought to myself:
What a good idea.  That's a neat way to memorize a verse.

Once I returned home and got past the hustle and bustle of Christmas, I decided to sit down and pick out a few verses to post on our mirrors.  After a few days, I settled on three that I decided were good to start the year out on.  Well, today I was taking them down so I could replace them and I thought:
Why don't I share these with everyone?

So, here are the verses I picked.
I used these to remind me that God is my Guide For Life.

The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord: and he delighteth in his way.
 - Psalm 37:23

I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go:
I will guide thee with mine eye
 - Psalm 32:8

When thou goest, it shall lead thee; when thou sleepest, it shall keep thee; and when thou awakest, it shall talk with thee.  For the commandment is a lamp and the law is light and reproofs of instruction are the way of life.
 - Proverbs 6:22 & 23

A First Valentine!

Baby J's first Valentines Day started out pretty good!
He received Lady and The Tramp from Moma and Popa Scott along with a half dollar for his piggy bank!

Last night he got his valentine from his Pa and Elle

His very first toy car!

This morning Baby J got a gift from his Aunt Nana.

After I convinced him that the box wasn't the gift,  he had fun playing with his own white puppy!

We had a surprise visit from Baby J's Great-Grandparents.

They brought him a toy guitar!

No, we didn't forget about him, we got him a valentine too.

I just waited until Daddy got home from work to let him have it!
Besides, I knew he'd have fun showin him how to use it!

Well, I hope yall had as good a Valentine Day as I did!

Snow!

I took this picture for you last night!  I was trying to show you how much snow we had got in 3 hours, but it was snowing so heavy that I couldn't get a good focus.  Then I thought....

Maybe I should turn out of the wind! Duh!

This morning, we ended up with about 2 inches.  I didn't take many pictures, I don't know why, maybe it was the little fella screaming in the high chair. But i did take one of the drift out my back door...

and I stuck my lens cap in the snow on top of our table on the back porch.

Yay, we finally got some much needed moisture!

Of course, with this Oklahoma weather it is already almost all melted!

Style Stable

This is Moose.

Moose has on his new coat!

And with this weather we're having, it's just in time!

This was one of his Christmas presents.  He is just now getting it because I bought the wrong size, so we had to exchange it. As I am sure you have guessed, this is this weeek's Made In America product.  This wonderful company, Style Stable, is based in Minnesota and they make a variety of Horse Blankets, tote bags, garmet bags, dog blankets and other miscellaneous items.

I myself was very impressed with the quality of this product.  I know it will outlast every coat Moose has had in the past!  If you are in the market for any type of horse or dog blankets, please check out the Style Stable products website.

Farmin' With Daddy

Now that Baby J is getting older, he can accompany his daddy to the farm on fair weather days!

He is already so interested in all the animals.

He get's very excited and squeals.  He's not afraid of anything.  If we'd let him, he'd crawl right over and try to go for a ride!

Before long, we're going to have to hide the keys or he'll drive himself out there!
