I'm just a small town girl who sometimes put chocolate milk in her cereal, loves cookies more than any other desert, And never wears white socks.
I married LB, the love of my life, in 2004 and became his farm wife. I've learned to successfully identify wheat, cotton, corn, alfalfa and many other crops with just a quick glance, and am now able to tell the difference between a combine and a hay baler. We grow wheat, raise calves and also have other jobs for the in between times to keep us busy.
I have a crazy haired dog named Moose. Who is actually not much bigger than a raccoon. He has separation anxiety when I'm away and he thinks he should wear clothes. Why not? That's what all humans do. (Please, no one tell him he's a dog. I don't have time to deal with an identity crisis right now.)
We have a handsome little boy that joined our family in 2011. Most days I spend my time running after him and sometimes getting myself into trouble right along side him! There is never a dull moment around here! He has made our life full and exciting. He's our little miracle.
I started this blog so that my friends and family could keep up with me and see what kind of crazy messes I was getting myself into. I hope you enjoy coming along with me on my journey through life. And, Thanks for taking time out of your crazy and hectic day to see what I'm up to.
Hang on tight! Your Farm Friend,
Amy
