Wheat Field Cut For Hay

Beautiful Spring Days

Last week, When we were all just getting over having that horrible awful stomach bug, we went on an outing.  We had all been cooped up in the house and were needing some fresh air.  The weather was beautiful and a perfect day for a ride along with LB while he checked hay and water.

I happened to snap these few pics with my phone  because it was just such a perfect day and I thought I'd share them with you.

The wheat is beautiful this time of year.  Especially this field where there hasn't been any cattle to graze it down.  We are still in desperate need of rain, but the lush green wheat still brightened our day!

The wheat is one of the things I love so much about living out here.  In the winter when most people's yards have turned brown and dry, out here the whole country is bright green with the new growth of the wheat.

Lets all pray that the weather continues to stay beautiful and that maybe we can get more rain so that our crop will  continue to grow and produce.  It's been a rough few years with the drought.  Lets pray that it ends soon.
