The First Time In 10 Years!

I know it seems like it's been ten years since I posted anything on my blog, but it has only been a month and a half!


 I know, I know!


 What happened?


Just life. 


And a few other things, like my computer being so full of pictures (Seriously, I have maybe 15 word documents) that I had to actually delete pictures because there wasn't even enough room to make temporary files to burn CD's!  Every time I would open more than one thing on my computer I would get warnings telling me there wasn't enough memory on my computer and I needed to save everything and shut down.  It made it very difficult to do anything!


  It took about a month, but I went through my pictures and finally made a portfolio of all the Portraits that I have taken since 2006.  Then I was able to make CD's of all them so that I could take them off my computer.  That cleared off about 3,000 pictures.  I did a little more cleaning up and going through and all in all I deleted around 6,000 pictures.  I think it's time I invested in an external hard drive!


There have been lots of other things going on too.  Like play dates, birthday partys, baby showers, garage sales, harvest, gardening,... You get the picture, you all have lives too!


But my computer was the main problem.  I couldn't get enough free space at a time to get much accomplished.  I take enough pictures, that just as soon as I'd get a little space I would immediately fill it right back up with pictures I was clearing off my jam-packed full SD cards!  I missed blogging and I composed a post in my head almost every day.  I thought of lots of things I need and want to tell you.  Don't worry, I won't tell you everything tonight, but I will start blogging regularly again.  I don't know how I can keep going without posting anything.  I've been being nagged by various people...I won't mention any names, but their encouragement does make me feel missed.


So, I will begin regular posting again, starting with tonight's post.
