So, I have just today, had a chance to go through the pictures I took this weekend. We had a long weekend because Monday was President's Day, so LB worked at the farm all day!
On Saturday, the boys cleand the wheat drills. There was wheat still in the drills from when they sowed wheat last fall. On Monday, they were going to use the drills to sow oats. They set aside thirteen acers to sow with oats to be used as feed for their cows.
The easiest way to clean wheat out of the drills, is to vaccuume them out!
I wonder how they cleaned out drills before vaccuume cleaners were invented?
Then, you dump the wheat into the truck. Then take the truck to the elevator!
It's as simple as that!
Baby J lost interest pretty quick. He was more interested in the "orse"!
And the rocks!
