Interesting Facts

Here is my husband, he's making lots of noise.

What is he doing, you ask?

He is nailing cattle panels onto the floor of the stock trailer.

Why?

Well, let me tell you.

Hauling cattle is a messy business, because cattle tend to poop.   Cattle generally don't have any consideration for where they are when they decide to take care of business.  If they did it would be nice because then you wouldn't have to spend lots of time washing the trailer after a load of cattle.  Or have to clean your boots after being in the cattle pens.  I think you get the picture...

So, the problem is when you get several head of cattle in a moving stock trailer standing on lots of poop things tend to get a little slippery.  That's where the cattle panels come into play.  They give the cattle some traction on the floor and it keeps them from slipping and falling.

Meanwhile...

In the house...

Here is Moose!  Moose has a new toy, a soft squeaky bone.

He loves his new toy, in fact he loves his new toy so much, that when LB started making all the racket outside, Moose wouldn't even lay it down to bark!  So, he's running around the house with his bone in his mouth barking at the windows.  It was an interesting bark, as it was muffled and intertwined with small squeaks ever so often.

Too bad I didn't capture it on video!
