I sold my skate and his mate
At a sale in my garage
I think I now need a massage!
My friends and I
We battled the wind
On our prices
we did bend!
We made a dollar
And a few nickels
We took a break
And ate some pickles!
Then we wheeled and dealed
Still battling the wind
And happily our merchandise
Slowly thinned!
And then at three
We pulled down the door
Our old clothes and dishes
To see no more!
We were tired but happy
Our pocketbooks thicker
And our wind blown hair
Made us all snicker
We'll sleep good tonight
And I hope you will too
With lots of sweet dreams
To carry you through!
