Baby J and Moose

LB bought this cute little wagon for me a few days ago.  He thought I might like to use it for decoration, but I think it would make a nice photo prop!!

Before I was able to put the wagon in a clean place Baby J found an alternate use for it.

It was so cute!  Moose likes to go for rides but I am usually the one who pulls the wagon, but Baby J was determined that he was going to be the one to do it.

He had to work really hard.  Moose weighs almost as much as Baby J does.

Hi mom, We're going for a walk!

Moose was a good sport.  He put up with a pretty unsmooth ride!

Never a dull moment!

A fouond Picture!

I found this picture on my computer a few days ago.  LB took this and a series of others last month while I was working on the computer.  I never looked at the pictures, I just uploaded them with the others and went on about my business.  But, a few days ago when I was looking for a specific picture I came across the ones LB took and got tickled at a couple of them.  The above picture being one of them.

One of the things Moose likes to do is sit on the back of my couch.  And sometimes when I'm sitting on the couch, he'll scoot over so he can see over my shoulder at what ever I'm working on.  On this particular night, I was writing my blog.  LB saw something he thought was cute and grabbed my camera.  And like always, whenever he gets ahold of my camera, he takes hundreds of pictures, and then later, I get to go through them and pick out the ones that are in focus.  As I went through the pictures, I came across what LB was seeing:

(Please take note: it was late and I had just gotten out of the shower, so my hair was crazy.)

Moose was watching my computer very closely!

This is now one of my favorite pictures!

A Sleepy Puppy

I dug this picture out of my archive today for a contest.  The contest was titled "Funny", and this picture fits perfect.

You see, Moose is actually sleeping in this picture.  In LB and I's old house we had this glider rocker.  It was placed in front of our big bay window where Moose liked to hang out.  So, most any time of the day he could be found nestled comfortably on the seat.  This day however, he was extra tired and this is the position he ended up sleeping in for hours!

How he didn't get a crick in his neck I'll never know!

All tuckered out!

This was too cute, I couldn't resist!

Moose loves his daddy!  As soon as LB comes home from work, Moose is right there with him.  This is how they always end up in the evenings; just usually in the recliner instead of the couch.

A Moose in A Shirt

My dog's name is Moose.

Moose thinks he's a person.  Like I've mentioned before, telling him otherwise might possibly cause a major crisis.  I don't have time for an Identity Crisis, so PLEASE don't tell him.

Because Moose thinks he's a person, he thinks he should wear clothes.

As a matter of fact, if I leave one of his shirts out, he will bring it to me asking me to put it on him.

It's pitiful, I know, but what can I say?

He likes to wear sweatshirts and...

football jerseys and...

Halloween costumes and...

camo and bandanas and sweaters and the list just goes on and on...

So, if anyone knows of a place to by cute dog clothes please let me know.

My Crazy Haired Dog

I have a Dog. His name is Moose.  He's a very cute dog, and I love him. I can't help it. Just look at his face...

How could you not love a face like this?

I got Moose from LB for Valentines day in 2006.  He took me to the Dog Kennel and I got to pick him out.  He was the only one of his litter left and not ready to be weaned yet.  But I knew he was the one for me.  Three weeks later we brought him home.  He only weighed a pound and a half.

We bought him the smallest dog collar we could find and it still didn't fit!  From that day on Moose has gone with me almost everywhere I go.  He can't go to church or work with me of course, but he can most every where else.  He goes with me so much, that he actually has separation anxiety.  Who would have ever thought that a dog could get separation anxiety!

Moose (aka: Moo) is a West Highland Terrier.  These dogs are known for their Long White Hair.  As you can see in the picture, Moose is not lacking in that area.  We do have him groomed every 8 weeks so that he can actually see where he's going.  His hair will get so long that I don't know how he keeps from running into things!

See?  Well, maybe not!

So we load him up and take him to the groomer.  In the summer time it's lots cooler for him.

But in the winter time, he has to wear a coat.

He doesn't mind wearing clothes.  He gets excited every time you get any of his shirts out.  I think he thinks he is supposed to wear clothes. We do, so why shouldn't he?

Despite all the crazy hair, clothes wearing and anxiety attacks, he has one pretty cool personality.  He definately knows how to make you feel better or make you laugh.  He is always at the door excited to see you when you come home and he's always under the table waiting for you to drop your food!  He's my buddy.

I think everyone needs a house dog!

To all you dog lovers out there,
Amy
