Found

I love this picture!  I actually took this two years ago and I had forgotten all about it until the other day.  This is our pond dam and if you yhink it's pretty in this picture, you should see it in the spring!

The Guys

This is my father-in-law, my husband, and the mechanic.  They're off on a mission!  Father and son's working together.  Maybe soon I'll have pictures of my husband and his son to post!

Gyp Creek

This is another one of my favorite pictures!

This is a bridge that runs across the corner of one of our farms.  We actually call the farm Gyp Creek in honor of the creek this bridge crosses.  I have also taken some awesome pictures of this bridge in the spring when everything is green. I'll post them sometime.

Down On The Farm

I hope everyone has checked out the Down On The Farm page I have made.  I was wanting a place to put all of my photographs; kinda like a portfolio.  So, that's what this page is for.  The top portion are Pictures of farm life, the bottom portion is miscellaneous pictures from all over, zoos, gardens, wildlife refuges, old vehicles, etc...

All of the pictures on this tab can be purchased as prints.  Once I get everything all ironed out I'll post prices and sizing.  But, for now, I hope you enjoy.  Please check back often because I'm continually adding more pictures.

Hangin' On

I love this picture.  I took it several years ago.  I had been going out every day and picking up the pecans to give as gifts for Christmas.  When I took this picture almost all the rest of the pecans had fallen off.  There were only a few left that were still "Hangin' On".

I think it would make a great cover for a card with the inscription "Hang In There" on the corner.
Maybe I should print a few up!

Treadaway Windmill

This is another one of my favorite photos.  The windmill in this photo was built by LB's Great-Grandfather and was constructed around the 1920's.  The windmill pumped water into the concrete ice house to the right, which is where they stored their milk and any various other things.

My Favorite Harvest Picture

I know this is the 3rd time I've posted this picture, but it's my favorite.

I thought that I should tell you what it is a picture of since it is my opening shot.  I know some of you know what it is, but there are some of my readers who are new to farm life.

For those of you who don't know, this is a silhouette of a combine from the back.

Frozen Cotton Stalks

I just wanted to share this picture with you.

This picture is of Frozen Cotton Stalks.  I took it during the ice storm back in January.

I just thought you might enjoy seeing it.
