A Quiet Week

On Sunday, LB, Cooper(Baby J), and I took a load of cattle to the stockyards in OKC.  It was perfect timing really because my mom was wanting to have all the grandkids come and stay for a week.  So, after we dropped off our load of calves, we headed on out to my parents house and dropped Cooper off for the week.

This was his first time to stay at their house with out me or LB.  And  it was also his first time to be away for more than one night.  He was going to stay for four nights!

LB and I wasn't sure he would make it until Thursday, but we also weren't sure we were going to make it until Thursday without him!

He was very excited.  My sister was coming on Monday with her kids and they had all sorts of plans.

Across to the other side of the state, LB and I weren't sure what to do with ourselves.  Neither of us had been without Cooper for more than one night and after the first 24 hours we had gotten everything done and didn't know what to do with ourselves.

Cooper, on the other hand, had plenty to do.  My parents had a new puppy, popsicles, dinosaur bones, and a trip to the zoo planned!

I don't think my parents had a dull moment all week!  I know Cooper had lots of fun.  He has told us all sorts of stories!  I'm so glad he got to spend time with his cousins and hope that he will get to do it again sometime.  I have lots of fun memories from times with my cousins and hope that one day he will too.

Today, LB and I met the crew at the zoo in the city to pick baby J up and bring back home.  I missed him so much and was so glad to see him!  Even though I wanted him to have time with his cousins and grandparents, I know that I will sleep lots better tonight knowing he is right here under the same roof.

Sleeping as peaceful as a pregnant woman can,
Amy
