Yeti Coolers

LB got one of these for Christmas.

I may be a girl, but I know a cool ice chest when I see one!

Here's the likn for this made in USA product:  Yeti Coolers

These coolers keep ice cold a lot longer than regular ice chest and they are bear proof!  Which is perfect for us since we live in an area with such a large bear population!

Just kidding!

On the bear part at least!

Check them out, you might want one for the back of your pick up for this summer!

Catch up!

Ok, so I just realized that I have lost track of time on my blog!

It seems to happen so easy anymore!

So, here's a quick catch up of what we've been up to...

We've been to check cattle.

Hello pretty girl!

LB and I went to see this movie!  It was good.

You should go see it.

On tuesday baby J and I went to the park.  I'm so glad that the weather is warming up, we'll soon be able to make regular trips there and to the pool!

I love summer!

Today, we tried to fly a kite.  It didn't work.

It crashed and broke!

Well, the rest of the time from then till now is all a blur!

I'll see ya'll tomorrow!

Buildin' Fence

Those two  cows are not supposed to be on that side of the fence.  You see, that green stuff, it's not grass.

What?  Not grass?

Nope.  It's wheat!  And we need to keep those cows off the wheat, because now the heads are starting to come up and we don't want the cow to eat it.

So, what do you do?

You find a tractor and fill the bucket with fence post.

Then you take one of the fenc post, put a pipe with a flat end over the top and....

then you lower the bucket...

until...

a hand is raised!

Then you take the baby home and put him down for a nap while the guys string the wire!  It was such hard work I might just have to take a nap too!

Milo's Kitchen

Just recently, I started buying these snacks for my crazy haired dog, Moose.

I had heard lot's of good things about them and the 100% real printed on the package caught my eye.  And then, the icing on the cake, I turned the package over and saw "Made in USA".

Yep!  I gotta have this for Moose. He loves our country too!

Milo's kitchen beef jerky, chicken meatballs and beef sausage slices with rice are all made in the USA.  They are made with 100% real products. Nothing artificial.

So, head on over to local grocery store and pick up a package!  I promise, you won't be dissapointed!

Last Week's Adventure Overview

My nieces and nephew had a car race.  I got run over.

Baby J made friends with patch.

Baby J and his cousin moved about a ton of dirt!  I don't think they could have gotten any dirtier if they'd have made dust angels!

All the grandkids got to go on a ride with Momma and Poppa Scott.

We colored Easter eggs.

The kids made each other into tacos!

On the last day, my mom had a big egg hunt for the kids!  Baby J was so excited he would throw all the eggs into his basked, unfortunately, his real eggs did not survive.

The week was good.  The kids thoroughly wore themselves out but had a wonderful time!

A Quick List

1.  Baby J and I went on a six day trip last week!  We traveled to Stillwater to stay with my parents for a week and spend time with my sister's kids.  It was full of adventures and little sleep!

2.  Baby J got to hunt easter eggs for the first time while at my parents.  He is so proud of his eggs that every time someone comes over he runs to his bucket and shows them his eggs!  (don't worry they are plastic. His real eggs didn't make it)

3.  I have laundry.  I didn't know that a laundry pile could get so big.

4.  Today Baby J and I went to the Library.  He loves books.  He ask me several times a day to stop what I'm doing and read to him. I'll sit in the floor where ever I am, read the book, then he'll take the book back and do something else.  Then a little later, he will bring another book!  It is like that every day.  So, we have been making regular trips to the library so that we don't keep reading the same ones over and over.

5.  I'm tired and can't think of anything else quick to tell ya, so, I'll see ya tomorrow!

Matthew 5:14-16

14.  Ye are the light of the world.  A city that is set on a hill cannot be hid.
15.  Neither do me light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.
16.  Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

Dr. Seuss

This is one of my favorite Dr. Seuss books.

I actually love all Dr. Seuss books.  I guess I'm just a kid at heart!
Baby J enjoys the pictures, they are so bright and colorful. I think the illistrations are good for his imagination.

I like to give this one as graduation gift.

Dr. Seuss's birthday was the third of this month.  A lot of schools celebrate it by feeding kids green eggs and ham!

I like to buy this one for birthday gifts!

I hope everyone owns at least one Dr. Seuss book.  If you don't you should go out and buy one.  I suggest you start with Fox In Socks!

Magic Static Remover

So, the last few months I have been plagued with sever static!

Static in my hair, clothes, sheets, and towels!

So in an effort to keep the static at bay I grabbed a large box of dryer sheets and this can of static remover!

A few days ago, I was generously spraying some of the static remover all over my favorite purple shirt when I happened to notice, in bold print, Made in USA, across the bottom of the can!

So, I'm sure you can imagine my suprise when a product bought out of desperation, is a product that happens to help people in our country!

Happily Static Free!

Fireman

This post really doesn't need much explination.

All you really need to know is, that fireman's hat is what I use for my pumpkins in the fall, but now I may be having to find a new one!

See ya!

A Box

A few days ago, I received a package in the mail.  And being the wonderful mom that I am, I gave the box to Baby J.

I had no idea the box would cause such joy!

He played with this box all day, and part of the next.

He sat in the box, he stood in the box, he walked around with the box on his head, he pretended to drive the box and played peek-a-boo with the box!

Just imagine how much more fun he'd have if the box had been bigger!

Flash

This is Flash.

This is a very happy little boy!

I found these pictures on LB's camera the other day.  They were taken back in November last year on one of those days when I had forgotten my camera.  Baby J loves animals.  And lately every time we go with LB he ask for the "orse"!

It won't be long and he'll be up there by himself!

Well, I guess it's time to go, see ya later!

Green Works

Green Works all-purpose cleaner by Clorox.

Ok, so I know, another cleaner!  But, I think this is the last one.  It seems that one of the easiest ways to find Made in America products is to just look at the back of packages when shopping.  That's how I have converted so much of my stuff to USA products.  Honestly, I think my post are going to become a little more difficult now.

Green Works products are made in USA and Canada.  The all-purpose cleaner is made in America.  I like this stuff because it's safe for Baby J to get on his feet or hands.  So I don't worry as much when I cleaning if he touches the surface before it's dry.  I also think it gives stuff a nice shine!
