Utility Room Update

Well, I did it!  I was brave and I branched out into the world of bright colors!

We took the rod down on this side; LB said he'd build a cabinet for it.  I would have a little extra storage that way.

I love this color.  It's a lot happier than the previous tan.  If you'd like to See before pictures click HERE.  I used paint from Ace Hardware, the color is Forgotten Secret

LB does not like it.  So, I guess painting the bedroom this color is out. Unless I did it one day while he was at work.  But then again, I can't move the bed, it's too heave.  So, I'll just have to leave the bedroom the way it is.

I am decorating with red, yellow and white.  I've already got a couple things started.  I'll keep you posted as I get them finished!

Baby J Hard At Work

Well, it's that time of year again!

I am very excited!  I love getting muddy  in my garden.  Baby J loves getting muddy in my garden too!

Baby J, with a little help from his daddy, workred up my garden for me last week.  You see, it's almost time to plant onions!

"Well, mom.  I'm off to bigger and better things.....

Like driving the jeep!

I love days like this.  I love watching him learn and explore, but I am discovering that I'm not as fun as daddy!  I better get in my time with him in while I can.

Love, Amy

Isaiah 41:10

10.Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God:  I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.

Snow

We got snow!  Doesn't happen very often in Oklahoma. So when it does, you had better take advantage!
We dug LB's old sled out and took off!  Baby J had a blast.  LB drove the four wheeler around the lots in a circle for about 45 minutes and he was just as happy as could be.

At one point he decided I needed to go with him.  It's been a long time since I've been on a sled!

Christmas Trees and Snow

Hello All!

I have got the picture thing worked out and I'm back!

First off, Thank you to all of you loyal readers who kept sending out the encouragement to not let this go by the wayside and continue blogging!

So, to make everyone happy, where do we begin?
(I know I'm a little behind, so I'll do the best I can to catch you up from the last month and a half!)

First item on the list:  My Christmas tree.

In the eight years that LB and I have been married, I have only used hand me down Christmas decorations.  Well, this year I got a new tree and I got several new decorations.  And to add some color I made bunches of wheat and poked them in, all over.  Unfortunately I didn't get a close up.  But I think you can still see some of the wheat!  With the tree being the same height as our ceiling, we didn't have enough room to put on a star!

I have always wrapped my presents in brown paper, but this year I coordinated the ribbon and put every one's initial on their packages!  I like it so much, I think I'll do it again next year!

Now that Christmas is over, I decorated for winter.

We decorate with leaves and pumpkins for fall, and we put out flowers for spring in summer.  So why not decorate with snow for winter?

Epsom salt works great for fake snow!

And mirrors make great frozen ponds!

I love decorating.  Now it's time to start thinking about Valentine's!

Missed all y'all!
