There's Nothing Like Last Minute

Last week, I felt a little crafty and made an assortment of things for Halloween.

We made Mr. and Mrs Ghost sock puppets for Baby J!

He thinks it's funny to wear these on his arms!

Then I made Baby J his very own Trick Or Treat Bag.

Then on Saturday I went to a Sunday School Class party and all of us wives made a wreath!

Then on Sunday, I decided it was time to make Baby J's Halloween costume.  I told you there's nothing like last minute!

Unfortunately I'm not the best seamstress.  And I almost had a panick attack.

But, luckily my mother-in-law who is better than Martha Stewart, jumped in and helped!  I think everything turned out very cute!

Last but not least, on Monday, I made strawberry ghost!
Yummy!

Feeling Crafty!

Pistol Pete

I know, I know!  Today is the third and halloween was four days ago!  But life around here has been anything but ordinary!  Halloween night LB came down with the stomach bug and stayed home the next day!

So between potty training Baby J and spraying the house down with Lysol I just kinda forgot about blogging!

This year for Halloween Baby J was Pistol Pete!

As soon as I handed him his bag he was ready to Go!

Look Out!  Here I Come!

Baby J got this "trick-or-treating" thing figured out quick!  By the time we finished at our first house he knew exactly what that bag I gave him was for and exactly what was in it!

He'd had so much sugar by the time we got home, I wasn't sure I'd be able to get him to go to sleep!

We ran into Baby J's second cuosins at our Aunt's house.

At Baby J's great grandparent's house we spent a little extra time.  First off, I had to take off his costume so we could go potty!  Note for the next kid:  don't start potty training until after Halloween!  We had to take his costume of about 10 times!

This is one of my favorite pictures from the whole night.

At LB's grandpdarent's house we spent a little extra time.  Baby J needed to go potty and needed a good snack.  The blanket you see in the picture is something Baby J loves.  He likes them to spread it out on the floor in front of their chairs.  Then he gets all the pillows off the couch and puts them on the blanket.  Well, this particular time he asked Papa to come lay down with him.  He didn't want me or his daddy, he wanted Papa.  I love this sweet moment!

It was a fun night!  We stayed out too late and ate too much chocolate!

Can't wait 'till next year!
