Pyrex

I hav e lots of this in my kitchen cabinets.  It's Pyrex glasswareware.

Pyrex glassware is some pretty neat stuff.  It was first produced in 1915 and is still produced the same way right here in America.

Thet do make other products for the kitchen that are metal, but I'm not sure where they are made. The website only specifies that their glassware is made in the USA.  I only have their glass p;roducts, and all the pieces proudly display made in the USA.

Check out their website, and if you don't have any, buy some!  I know you'll love it and want more!

Our Vacation: Part 1

Two Fridays ago, LB and I loaded down the Jeep with way too much stuff, strapped Baby J in the car seat and joined Moose in the front seat.  Then we headed off on our vacation!  Our first stop was my parent's house where we would leave Moose while we were gone on our adventure!

On Saturday we met up with my Aunt and Uncle and a few of my cousins.  All total, there was 14 of us!

We stayed our first night in Clayton, New Mexico.  The next morning, we got up early and headed off to Springer where we would stop for lunch.  There you will find the Brown Hotel where they have the best food ever!

It's a very cozy little place where they serve homemade food all the way down to their bread!  Yum! I'm getting hungry just thinking of it!  And if you decide to spend the night there, they have cozy little rooms with quilts on every bed, jack and jill bathrooms and no TV or internet.  I honestly hope to spend a night here sometime!  Get rid of all the distractions and just enjoy each other and maybe even wake up to their home cooked breakfast!

Next stop the Palasides Sill, which is just about 30 minutes outside of Angel Fire, where would be staying for the rest of the week.

This is a really neat place, and if you're ever in the area, you should stop and check it out.  The Cimmarron River cut the rock into some pretty amazing formations.

After 3 days, we finally made it to our destination for the week.  A cozy little house in Angel Fire, New Mexico.  I'll tell you later about our adventures from the week!

So long for now!

Sunny Weather Brings...

LB and I love horses!

I used to ride almost every day!  Right now we are down to one horse between the two of us.  I sold my horse a few years ago, and haven't found one to replace him yet.  So right now I ride Flash when LB isn't on him.

Smile!

Right now, while LB is riding, Baby J and I watch and play in the beautiful sunshine.

On this particular day, Baby J and I were setting on the tailgate of my jeep, and everytime LB rode by, he got so excited!  It won't be long till he's out there with us!

Enjoying the sunshine!

Home Again

I love Oklahoma!

LB, Baby J, Moose and I are home again after a long vacation!

It was a great vacation.  I went skiing!

Baby J played in a box!

And we did a lot of sight seeing!

It was a wonderful trip and I will tell you more about it later;
right now, I'm going to catch some shut eye!

First Tractor Ride

Baby J has been on the tractor several times.  In fact he has been on the tractor, lawnmower, and four-wheeler.  But he has never actually been for a ride on the tractor until just last week!

He wasn't exactly sure what to think, and he held on tight to daddy!

I don't think it'll be long though, until he is driving it around by himself!

A Sunny Afternoon at the Park

Finally, we're having spring like weather.  Well, until we got the rain.  But, I guess rain is considered spring time weather.

Anyway, because of the nice weather, we decided that it was time to take Baby J to the park!

He rode the merry-go-round with Daddy.

That was a big hit!  He liked the spinning, don't worry, we didn't spin too fast!

Oh, what fun it is to discover new things!

Surprisingly, he liked the swing!

He never liked his swing at the house. He cried every time I put him in it!

Oh, what fun we'll have once he starts walking!

Love, Amy

White's Boots

LB has a pair of these boots.  My dad has 3 pairs of these boots.

These boots are handmade in the USA.

Both LB and my Dad will tell you that these are best type of work boots ever.  They are custom made for each individual person.  When they are worn out, just send them back and they will repair them!

There are several different styles, you should definately check them out!

Tide, Woolite, and Starch

This was last week's USA post, but since I didn't have internet, you'll get two USA post this week.  I still plan to make my goal of 52!

In my laundry room there is a cabinet.  It's a nice white cabinet with silver knobs,
and in that cabinet there is a bottle of this:
I love the Mountain Spring scent.  It makes my clothes smell like they just came off the clothesline!

And there is a bottle of this:
My dark colors never seem to fade when I use this on them!

And a few cans of this:
I like this stuff, there are several strengths; and using this is cheaper than driving the 20 miles to the nearest cleaners!

One of the reasons I like these products is because they are made in the USA.

I emailed the people at Tide and they said all their liquid detergent is made in Lima, Ohio in the good old USA.  Their powder versions are either made in the USA or Canada.

The people at Woolite didn't answer my email as to where their products were manufactured, but Made in USA is printed on the back of the 3 different detergents.

Faultless starch is made in Kansas City, Missouri, USA and it is proudly stated on their website!

So, here are three great household products that I highly recommend and are keeping our country employed!
